The Blucher is a classic, welted derby type. It's reminiscent of the typical Austro-Hungarian style of shoemaking, and works well in both a casual and formal setting.
All Vass shoes are welted by hand in the small workshop, situated in the XVth district in Budapest. The French boxcalf leather comes from the best European tanneries, and the soles are pit tanned for up to 12 months by J. Rendenbach. The welt is cut closer to the waist by hand for a slimmer look.
Lasted shoe trees, undeniably the most important shoe care item, are included for all Ready To Wear Vass shoes.
Features: Made on a modernised version of the typical Austro-Hungarian last shape, the P2 last offers a surprisingly elegant yet casual look. Made from reverse calf suede, on a single leather sole.. Handmade by Vass in Hungary.
Color: Medium brown suede.
Sizing: The P2 last has a generous round tip, high instep and narrow heel, which makes this a very comfortable last to walk in.We advise our customers to take their standard size. Please contact us for any questions regarding size and fit, comparative to other makers.
